Wipeout "Udderly Ridiculous" -- being edited as we speak--well right now

I watch whatever comedy I can on television.

For years I've been noticing that most shows take every chance they can to insert sex into their dialogue or in general.

In Wipeout "Udderly Ridiculous" I found two specific examples of  adult material.  I don't think anyone would call Wipeout a show for kids; I'd call it a pg 13 show.

I think adults should watch the show with their kids.  The show is one of my favorites.

I like watching people wipeout but of course I like watching the women wipeout or run or pose ..... Do you blame me.  Don't tell me you haven't seen the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.

Okay so let's get to the two examples of "adult content" then I have to go to bed.  My teddy bear is reminding me that it is past my bedtime.

In one part of the show a lady wearing an  outfit with a jungle cat on it is in a part of the obstable course when the people in special effects highlight the tiger's eyes which happen to be where the lady's nipples are.

In another part of the show there is a group of contestants on a raised obstacle when everyone is talking about being nervous when one of the contestants notices a girl is wet and she hasn't been in water yet.  She admits that she had peed herself.

Okay talk amongst yourself......I'm coming Mr. Tickles  (His full name is Mr. Tickle Me Inappropriately).

In the words of Sugar Sammy.... "Just jokes".

Okay now try a different page and enjoy.

The Haunted Hathaways is a Nickelodeon sitcom television series that began airing on July 13, 2013 and ended on March 5, 2015. It tells the story of a single mother and her two daughters who move into a home occupied by three ghosts, a single father and his two sons. The two families solve their problems using the ghost powers and normal human ways. The show's first season was originally going to consist of 20 episodes, but on August 21, 2013, the first season was picked up for 6 more episodes, bringing the first season up to 26 episodes.[1] On October 21, 2013, Nickelodeon renewed The Haunted Hathaways for a second season.[2] The second season started airing on June 28, 2014. The series was filmed at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California.[3]The last episode aired on March 5, 2015.

Premise[edit]

The series tells the story of a mother named Michelle Hathaway moving her two daughters, Taylor and Frankie, to New Orleans where they open a bakery. They come to find out that the house is haunted by Ray Preston and his two sons, Miles and Louie as they are actually ghosts. The families learn how to live with each other using their ghostly powers and normal human ways.

Cast and characters[edit]

Main characters[edit]

  • Amber Montana as Taylor Hathaway, the daughter of Michelle Hathaway, and the older sister of Frankie Hathaway. As seen in the first episode, she is a talented gymnast who cares about her work and is easily agitated by her family and the Prestons.
  • Curtis Harris as Miles Preston, the older son of Ray and older brother of Louie. He is the most well-mannered of the Preston ghosts, and tries the hardest to socialize with humans, especially Taylor. Miles does his best to help Taylor with her problems, but he tends to do more harm than good.
  • Benjamin Flores, Jr. as Louie Preston, the son of Ray Preston, and is Miles Preston's younger brother. He tends to be rude and a little bit on the sarcastic side. He loves haunting and scaring people, though he hasn't quite mastered it yet. Louie doesn't understand why the Hathaways have to live with them in their house and isn't always so nice to the Hathaways, but he gradually accepts them and becomes especially good friends with Frankie.
  • Breanna Yde as Frankie Hathaway, the daughter of Michelle Hathaway, and the younger sister of Taylor Hathaway. She is considered strange by her peers, and embraces the idea of living with ghosts. Frankie doesn't easily get along with her older sister, Taylor, because they have different ways of dealing with things. Frankie and Louie have a complicated relationship because Frankie is often better at scaring people than he is, but they are still best friends. In the episode "Haunted Doll" it was revealed that her full name was Francesca.
  • Ginifer King as Michelle Hathaway, the good-hearted single mother of Taylor and Frankie. She is divorced and along with her two daughters lives with the Prestons. Michelle is a skilled baker who owns a bakery called Pie Squared. Michelle tries to get along with her daughter, Taylor, but they always think of things differently and their problems tend to be controversial. Michelle and Ray also find a complicated relationship because of their different styles of parenting.
  • Chico Benymon as Ray Preston, the father of Miles and Louie. As seen in the first episode, he plays the saxophone. Ray prefers a laid-back lifestyle, so he isn't very good at disciplining his sons when they misbehave.

Recurring characters[edit]

  • Brec Bassinger as Emma, a girl on Taylor's gymnastics team and goes to Taylor's school who tends to not understand much of what people around her do understand. Emma is also very clumsy and ditzy.
  • Juliette Angelo as Meadow, a girl who joins Taylor's gymnastics team and becomes Taylor's best friend. After an accident in the Hathaways' house, she gains the ability to see ghosts and soon becomes friends with Miles, not knowing that Miles is a ghost. She, however, does find out about Miles and her new-found ability and is fine with it (for the most part).
  • JT Neal as Scott Tomlinson, a boy who Taylor has a crush on and then becomes her boyfriend.
  • Kayla Maisonet as Lilly, a girl who attends the same school Taylor Hathaway attends and is on the school's gymnastics team. She does not appear in season 2.
  • Artie O'Daly as Clay Bannister, a very well-known food critic who gives reviews on bakeries in the New Orleans area.
  • Ava Cantrell as Penelope Pritchard, a girl who attends the same school as Frankie Hathaway and is known for her crazy obsession with dolls. She is very wealthy and she doesn't like Frankie that much.
  • Kim Yarbrough as Madame Lebeuf, a mystical and spiritual woman who makes a living by exorcising unwanted ghosts.
  • Fred Stoller as Mr. Dobson, Louie's teacher at Ichabod Crane Academy.

Reception[edit]

Ratings[edit]

The series premiered on July 13, 2013 and scored 3.3 million viewers, after a brand new Sam & Cat.[5][6] The next episode that aired scored 2.8 million viewers. As of November 2014, the most watched episode is Pilot with 3.3 million viewers. The second most watched episode is Haunted Sleepover with 2.8 million viewers, and the least watched episode is Haunted Revenge with 1.23 million viewers. In Australia "Pilot" received 47,000 viewers making it the third most watched Nickelodeon broadcast that day.[7] The same episode received 138,000 viewers in the United Kingdom.[8]

Critical reception[edit]

The Haunted Hathaways has generally received a positive reception. David Hinckley of the New York Daily News says that it has the traditions of "smashing two very different families together" and "having a normal level of sitcom zaniness compounded by the unexpected appearance of the supernatural." He enjoyed the idea of a traditional sitcom every once in a while.[9] Sonia Saraiya of the A.V Club claims it to be "unique and slightly convoluted" She also said that it has an "interesting" gender and racial breakdown.[10]

The show was based upon an art website that Noah Z. Jones created in 2005.[1]

Premise[edit]

The cartoon is set inside a tropical resort called the Banana Cabana.[2] All of the cabana's staff members and residents are funny animals who have shaved off their fur and wear only underclothes. A dog named Howie is the manager and leader of the cabana. Each episode follows Howie and his "misfit" crew having unusual adventures in the Banana Cabana.

Production[edit]

The series is produced by 9 Story Media Group and produced it for YTV.[3] Noah Z. Jones is the creator of the series, while Brad Ferguson is the director.[4] Executive producers includes Vince Commisso, Steve Jarosz, and Noah Z. Jones. Other staff for the series includes Tristan Homer as producer and Mark Satterthwaite as creative producer.
Development for the series started as early as 2006.[4]
On October 16, 2009, Aaron H. Bynum, news editor of Animation Insider, announced that the series entered production.[5] Vince Commisso, president and CEO of 9 Story Entertainment was pleasantly surprised and charmed for the production of Almost Naked Animals and said: "We are very excited to be commencing production on Almost Naked Animals,". "We spent a great deal of time in development, ensuring the characters, the pacing and the tone of the show was (sic) precise. It is extremely gratifying to see our work come to fruition and the end result is this high-quality, curiously funny animated property."[5]

The Characters[edit]

Howie

Main characters[edit]

  • Howie (voiced by Rob Tinkler) is a pale-yellow dog and manager of the Banana Cabana. He is hyperactive and impulsive, he's almost always cheerful.
  • Octo (voiced by Howard Jerome) is a blue octopus and the desk clerk. He is Howie's best friend.
  • Bunny (voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow) is a short-tempered yellow rabbit and activity planner with a sugary personality (subject to mood swings).
  • Duck (voiced by David Berni) is a Tan-colored duck who does every random job and tries anything to get it done. It was revealed in "The Sun Howie Always Wanted", and "Mini Howies" that his full name is Archibald William Nightindale Duck III. As a running gag Duck often appears during a problem with a funny non sequitur. In the episode "What Would Batty Do?" it is revealed he is lactose intolerant.
  • Piggy (voiced by Seán Cullen) is a pale pink pig who is a ninja-trained master chef with a Bulgarian accent. He speaks broken English.
  • Narwhal (voiced by Seán Cullen) is a self centered, periwinkle-colored narwhal that loves to sing (he is the lounge performer.)
  • Sloth (voiced by Linda Kash) is a peach-colored sloth and the bellhop of the Banana Cabana. She has a crush on Howie. She also does everything slowly. She moves around using her luggage cart.
  • Poodle (voiced by Alyson Court) Howie's sister who owns a rival hotel called the Chateau Chattoo. She always tries to ruin Howie's fun and tries to take over Howie's hotel.
  • Batty (voiced by Julie Lemieux) Poodle's evil minion.

Syndication[edit]

Almost Naked Animals and two other Canadian cartoons, Sidekick and Scaredy Squirrel, were all added to Cartoon Network in the United States in 2011. In November and December 2011 respectively, Sidekick and Scaredy Squirrel were pulled from the channel (for a hiatus), but the series was left on. Though many episodes were originally broadcast on YTV in Canada, CN often advertised the episodes as being new episodes (though they were only first-run broadcasts in the United States). This show has not aired on Cartoon Network since June 21, 2013 and the show officially stopped airing on November 3, 2013 when Boomerang stopped airing reruns, but reruns continue to air on YTV in Canada.

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn (They're real and they're spectacular---heard on Seinfeld) -- (Done as of February 27, 2016 Saturday)

Parents read this for your kids.  The show is great but I just thought you should know a few things.  The beginning information is kind of an expose.  Further down, in the post I tell you about Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn.  You can scroll right down to it.  Watch for the heading.

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn (This page is pg  13 , AA, I recommend that you should be at least 18 to read this page.....if your not, I'll tell your mom..... I'll give her some soap to wash your eyes out.  .... Okay there is material that will make a young mind do an imitation of a volcano, guy or girl.  Okay ..... so if you're old enough read on.  I hate to dumb the material down to be safe.  The material suffers.  I'm working on doing quality work.

Okay there once was a man from Nantucket....aw crap...or better yet let us talk about birds and bees relationships but in a negative way.....See all I had to say was f..... it and all mature readers would fall off their mother's office chairs onto their mother's basement floor and roll back and forth.  Okay children go away.....to another page okay?  Or just sit there until your 18 or have your parents read the page first or if they are crappy parents they will let you read the page on your own.)

"You are real and you are spectacular"  This is a line from the camping episode....the one where they aren't related to each other.

I think most of the world's population has seen the episode where Jerry wonders about his girlfriend's parts.... Okay are the kids asleep?......

On Seinfeld, Jerry wonders if his girlfriend (Teri Hatcher --- one of many girlfriends) has natural or fake/modified boobs....uh er breasts....mammaries.....

Okay that's the scary content I was worried about.

On the kid sitcom Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, Ricky sees a telescope at camp and is awestruck.  He says out loud "You are real and you are spectacular."  I am sure that is not a coincidence or just flooky writing.  A lot of the "children's" sitcoms..... or is that "young adult" sitcoms are trying to use as many "adult" lines or modified lines to excite the kids and shock the adults.

An example from Some Assembly Required is when the gang at Knick Knack Toys is at war with the mattress king and Bowie rips an earring from Piper's ear and says he needs it because they are at war....you know melting metal down to make weapons and ammunition?   Then Bowie asks Piper what else she has pierced?

If any adults fell of their chair because I said what we are all thinking, get up.  I will be trying to keep writing things we are all thinking.  I will not write offensive stuff like race jokes and I won't get into religious debates.....maybe just in a mild way to state facts or information as I understand it.

Don't be scared.  I think most of my work will be aimed at people over 18.  Younger kids may not obey my warnings but then again there are kids who could make adults blush.

Shows like SpongeBob Squarepants might seem to be meant for children but I think adults will get all the jokes and kids will just think something silly was said.

Have you hear of Almost Naked Animals?  You might get an image in your mind and you might realize that you were close or right on.  The show is great as soon as you get back the "almost naked" part.  I have gotten to know the show and characters well.  The show is one of my favourites.   The naked part is not a big deal.  You might just forget that part.  SpongeBob gets naked and kids watch the show.  I started watching it when I found out that Tim Conway and many other of my heroes from the past are involved in the show.  Did you know Pink sang in one of the SpongeBob movies?

I love the following shows and more and recommend you see them.  Live action sitcoms are great but with cartoons the material only depends on the imagination of the crew.  Try it.  You'll like it.  Some of the shows are off the air but I'm sure they are available on demand and on .....shhhhh....YouTube.  Click on the links where available and become smarter....well you'll be entertained and know a whole lot about imaginary things.

SpongeBob Squarepants
Almost Naked Animals
Numb Chucks
The Thundermans
Haunted Hathaways
Bella and the Bulldogs
ICarly
Victorious

and many more.

I hope you enjoyed my rant/review/2 cents worth.  Most of these shows are real and spectacular.  You will find out what else is pierced in time.  You will find out why one of the character finds out that nobody wants to touch his thing.  There is some streaking and mooning involved.  There are exhibitionists on some shows.  I've seen crossdressing.  I saw a woman undress in front of some kids in an elevator....well she stops when she notices them.  Did I tell you?....a lady gave birth to a bowling ball....an actual bowling ball.  Spencer from ICarly dressed like a woman to help his little sister with a problem....I think he wore a dress on about 3 occasions.

*****
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn

Nicky is smart and reads a lot and he tries to be by the book and "goodie goodie"....uh .....yeah......Watch the show and see if he can keep it up.

Ricky is the Indian/Italian looking kid.  He's funny in the way he does stuff.  He's smart and tries to avoid getting into trouble, usually by getting others in trouble.

Dicky is the Narcissistic kid.  He worries about his looks, chases girls, but can sometimes let his hygiene go.  He once peed in Dawns drinking water bottle to give to the doctor.

Dawn is the girl.  She is very smart.  She is outnumbered and gets into situations that cause her trouble.  Her pride gets her into trouble.

All four of the kids compete in many situations but they come together when it counts.

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn is an American television sitcom produced by Nickelodeon.

Plot

The series focuses on 10-year-old quadruplets Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn Harper. They have nothing in common, often fighting, but they must work together to solve everyday situations.

Characters

Tom (Brian Stepanek) is the father of the quadruplets. It is a running gag in the series that he cares more about his possessions than his children, but he loves his family and is a kid at heart.
Anne (Allison Munn) is the mother of the Harper quadruplets who usually gets caught up in Tom's new obsessions. In "Quaddy-Shack", it is revealed her middle name is Anne and her first name is Chantal.
Nicky (Aidan Gallagher) is the youngest of the Harper quadruplets. He is shown to be quite comedic, quirky, and easily confused.
Ricky (Casey Simpson) is the second oldest of the Harper quadruplets. He is the smart one of the group, always seen carrying a book or doing his homework. He is also a neat freak and a bit of a goody two shoes, though he occasionally tries to prove to Dawn and his brothers that he can bend rules as well.
Dicky (Mace Coronel) is the easy-going quadruplet who cares a great deal about his appearance. He always takes the easy way out.
Dawn (Lizzy Greene) is the oldest of the quadruplets by four seconds. Although she's always seen bothering her brothers, she does care about them deeply. There is a consistent rivalry for the leader spot of the quads between her and Ricky.
