That's a Canadian holiday.
Here are the shows I've paid attention to lately:
The The Thundermans
The Stanley Dynamic
Two and a Half Men
Max and Shred
The Odd Couple (2016)--well the new shows will start again in the fall
Mom -- also should be back in the fall
2 Broke Girls
Canada's Worst Driver
And more
And now what my thoughts are on those shows:
******
The The Thundermans
Phoebe is being pushed to do things she doesn't feel comfortable doing so she can become a full superhero.
Max keeps doing evil things. Every so often his heart softens and he does good.
The younger brother and sister team is getting into their own kind of trouble. In one episode Phoebe and Max freeze them and then go to the movies. The kids thaw themselves out and go on a spending spree with Barb Thunderman's (the mom) credit card. Nora and Billy end up filling the house with those balls that they use in kiddy play places, you know like in a ball pit where kids jump in and wade around. I've never tried this or at least I don't remember doing it....I mean play in a ball pit not fill my parents' house with balls.
Barb, the mom, gets tricked into buying and comforting Max when he acts like he's sad he didn't get his "Thunder Sense". She buys him a super computer and a trampoline. Max gets caught when he saves Nora from a falling eavestrough.

Hank is a loveable character who comes to the kids' rescue on many occasions. He also flies to Hawaii just to get Macadamian nuts. He once converted the houses safe room into a man cave.
The show has a lot of great moments. I would give the show a 7 out of 10. I would miss it if it was gone. I'm still dealing with Some Assembly Required ending.
A little girl was added and she has been a cute addition to the show. She can teleport anywhere she wants. She had exploding bubbles as a power at the beginning but I think that got replaced by the teleporting.

The Stanley Dynamic
This show has great characters that make you feel great. I can't explain that. The mother is a hard working, smart, and cute woman. She works at the twins' school helping with food preparation and she also manages events at the school.
The father is a cartoonist who uses stuff that happens around the house to share his humor with his newspaper audience. He is a bit slow and gets tricked into situations, mostly by his young daughter...probaly 10 or 12 years old. One time she convinced his that he had an uncontrollable love for all ladybugs. Now how would that work? He actually ended up splatting one ladybug by mistake.
Luke and Stanley are the "twin" brothers. Luke is a cartoon and Stanley is not. So maybe the milkman is a cartoon.... okay so if we just accept the setup the show is reasonable funny. I would still keep Some Assembly Required as my favorite show. Luke is smart and caring while Stanley is in it for himself...what ever "it" is. He is not evil but he can be competitive with Luke.

I can't remember the little girl's name right now but she's a schemer. This seems to be the case with all the little girls in the families in sitcoms. Nora on The Thundermans is a big time schemer and gets Billy in trouble for entertainment and because they both get along. He enjoys the adventures.
