Sitcoms

Sitcom
Sitcom

Did you know there are sitcoms for adults and there are for youth.  Kids watch whatever their parents allow them or anything they want if the parents aren't involved.

Adult sitcoms are not blue media..... ask someone who knows.   I'm talking about Anger Management with Charlie Sheen who was popular in Two and a Half Men and movies etc...

Shows that involve more recently famous people are shows like Big Bang Theory and Mom and Two  Broke Girls.

There's a show I was happy to see but not wowed by.  The show is The Odd Couple.  This is a new version of the original Odd Couple.  We have the two main characters like in the old show; one is a by the book guy (Neatfreak....well maybe it's justified.) the other is a slob and a bit of a party person.  Oscar is played by.....I don't know him.  Felix is played by that guy from Friends....Mathew Perry.  Okay I Googled the Oscar character...he is Thomas Lennon.  All we are saying ... Give Peace a chance....(slap.!! My assistant just hit me.  He's not related to John Lennon....or is he?.....  (ducking)  I ducked in time not to get slapped.  I should hide the sugar from her.  The she wonders.  We'll Google it later.  Some of that will be like when I Google Oscar.....but well it's different because....well.... My assistant is pleasant (slap!) attractiv (slap!) gorgeous (ducking but no need.  She like that word.)

Okay so check out The Odd Couple, the old and the new and tell me what you think.

Now to the youth sitcoms.  There are a lot of great shows for youth and kids (at the parents discrection).  A lot of these shows reference more adult shows or shows from the past.  Some or most of the shows use inuendo ....  I'm guessing for ratings and to catch the older crowd.  Well if a kid yells "Nobody wants to touch mine!" we would guess they heard that from Piper on Some Assembly Required.

Here is a short list: Some Assemby Required, Max and Shred, The Thundermans, Spongebob Squarepants, Sidekicks, Wayside, School of Rock and more...........

They are fun....Watch them....You Know You Want To. They have been entertaining us for many years. Many people planned their lives around television. Parents would sit with their children to have dinner and watch television. Children would run home to see what the Beaver was up to. These programs showed us that ordinary people could have fun lives and adventures. People can relate to stories being told, well not always.

Grace Under Fire......... a fun way to deal with life. Some shows are about silly things that keep small communities busy. Other shows explore the lives of single parents or people in various relationships. There are shows about teenagers going through teenage stuff.

The Nanny wants to take care of your children. Click here if you should let her. There are shows about teenagers dealing with teenage stuff, which they deal with using out of these world solutions. Different living arrangements can be a source of humour. Magic, the occult, teenagers and the occult are all fair game in these shows.

Sitcoms like Corner Gas are fun For some people hangout in bar seems like a fun thing and it can be especially when you create amazingly funny characters that take a simple bar situation and make it a half hour of fun. In one comedy a man with kids marries a woman with kids. Let the feathers get ruffled and fly.

Check out Reba Curious yet? Explore all the different shows and watch them on television. You may just have missed out on some great shows. Suggest a show that I should explore. I'm sure I haven't seen it all. If fact I know I have a lot of television to catch up on and now I will.
