Archie Bunker's Place is American sitcom.  It wasn't as popular as All in the Family.  There was enough people (someone check my grammar) for the show to last four seasons.  In it's first season the Archie Bunker's Place did so well that it replaced Mork & Mindy during the Sunday night time slot.

Archie Bunker's Place continued where All in the Family left off.  The Bunker home is seen every so often but the main setting was the tavern that Archie bought.  At the beginning Archie has a Jewish partner, Murray Klein (Martin Balsam).  Archie and Murray get the chance to buy the place when Archie's co-owner partner decides to sell his share of the business.  Archie and Murray modify the bar that existed so that it now has a restaurant section.  The regulars to the tavern are Barney Hefner, Hank Pivnik, and Edgar Van Ranseleer.

Archie Bunker's Place allowed Archie to voice his opinions and get feedback from friends.  When Murray leaves later in the series Archie takes on another partner, named Gary Rabinowitz (Barry Gordon). Gary's views are very different from Archie's so send in the clowns.

Characters

Carroll O'Connor as Archie Bunker.

He is a blue-collar worker who become a bar owner---so that makes him a dirty white collar worker.  He is ignorant and stubborn.  He usually defeats his own arguments.  After becoming a bar owner he is not as racist as he was in All in the Family.  On that show he wouldn't have agreed to be partners with a Jewish guy and even more he wouldn't become good friends with a Jewish guy.

Jean Stapleton as Edith Bunker.

She is Archie's wife as she was on All in the Family.  She was on early episodes occasionally during the first season.  She decided to leave the series in 1979.  Her character was talked about but not seen again.  The producers explained her absence by saying she had died of a stroke.  Archie took Edith's death hard but started socializing again......you know chasing women.....well dating.

Martin Balsam as Murray Klein (1979-1981).

He was Archie's Jewish partner.  He was a liberal thinker and was more tolerant of Archie's odd thoughts.

Danielle Brisebois as Stephanie Mills

She is the 10-year-old Jewish daughter of Edith's step-cousin, Floyd Mills.  You almost here banjos playing but Stephanie is a sweet little girl with brains.  She's not a nerd; she is naturally "streetwise".  She gets along with everyone.  Archie and Edit took Stephanie in after her father abandoned her during the final season of All in the Family.  Stephanie loved to sing and dance and she did both every so often.

Celeste Holm as Estelle Harris

This is Stephanie's wealthy grandmother.  She argues with Archie about the right ways to raise Stephanie.

Allan Melvin as Barney Hefner

He's one of Archie's best friends.  He comes to the bar regularly.  They became friends on in 1972 during an episode of All in the Family.  He was then married to a woman named Mabel.  After Mabel died Barney married Blanche (Estelle Parsons), one of Edith's friends.  Blanche left Barney many times until the couple divorced in 1979.

Danny Dayton as Hank Pivnik

Big Bang Theory

Bob Newhart is back and he's going to be on the Big Bang Theory and Bill Nye the science Guy is also going to be on the Big Bang Theory I don't know if this episode already showed I think it was a few months ago.  Anyway I'm going to try to catch the episode. It looks like It will be fun.  I think I  may have seen it but I hope you enjoy it too.

I remember another episode which is one of my favorites.  The episode was the one where Penny dislocated her shoulder in the tub and Sheldon had to help her to the hospital and take care of her.  There are a lot of funny moments specially when Sheldon has to help Penny change so she can go to the hospital.  To keep it PG-13 you have to see the episode and if you're under 18 well if you get to see it ha ha if you don't you wouldn't have understood it that well any way.

The show is great but it could be better.  I think the show relies on moments instead of constant comedy.

On Everybody Loves Raymond the comedy happens wall to wall.  On Big Bang Theory there are lulls.  I still like the show.

Keep watching the show.  I did want to mention the science stuff.  I think there's scientific content added in artificially to fit the basic theme of the show.  That stuff is surrounded by sitcom stuff.

This picture shows more reason to watch.

Dads

Dads (2013)

This American sitcom premiered on tv on September 17, 2013.

The show was created by Alec Sulkin and Wellesly Wild.

The show is about two video game developers whose lives change when their fathers move in with them.

Starring : Giovanni Ribisi, Seth Green, Brenda Song, Vanessa Lachey, Tonita Castro, Peter Riegert, Martin Mull

Cast:
  • Seth Green as Eli Sachs, Warner's business partner
  • Giovanni Ribisi as Warner Whittemore, Eli's business partner
  • Brenda Song as Veronica, Eli and Warner's assistant
  • Tonita Castro as Edna, Eli's maid
  • Vanessa Lachey as Camilla, Warner's wife
  • Peter Riegert as David, Eli's dad
  • Martin Mull as Crawford

Brenda Song

We all remember Brenda Song as London Tipton from Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Suite Life on Deck.  She was also on Phil of the Future as Keely's friend and later Phil's friend.

On the Suite life shows she was a millionaire hotel chain owner's daughter.  She was the copy of Paris Hilton.  You know Paris Hilton.  Her dad owns the Hilton Hotel chains around the world.  Well he probably is the biggest share holder.  Brenda Song played the daughter of the owner of Tipton Hotels.

On Phil of the Future Brenda was a member of the "cool" kids.  (My computer is stuttering so I may not be able to finish all my thoughts but I`ll try.)

Tommy Dewey

He plays the part of Warner, Eli`s work partner.  He is married and has two kids.  His father, Crawford, moves in with him.

Paul Riegert

He is David, Eli`s father.  He had abandoned Eli and his mother when Eli was five years old.  David wants to rebuild their relationship.

Martin Mull

Yes that Martin Mull.  He was Roesanne`s boss on the show Roseanne.  On Dads he plays the part of Crawford.  He is Warner`s father and Warner has always hated him.

Tonita Castro

Tonita Castro plays the role of Edna.  She is Eli's heavy-drinking maid.  She speaks her mind.

Eli is an immature adult who has a profitable video game business with Warner.

Erin Pineda

Erin Pineda plays the part of Camilla.  She is Warner's wife.  She and Warner have a four-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter.

Vanessa Lachey

Vanessa Lachey was announced to be replacing Erin Pineda as Warner's wife, Camilla.  That was March of 2013 (hey that's this year).

Giovanni Ribisi

Giovanni Ribisi replaced Tommy Deway as Warner after the taping of the pilot.  I hope they made the right choice because the sitcom business is very competitive and the audience doesn't want to have too much change in the main character line up.  Too much change takes away the magic of television.

I heard a rumor that there are 6 new cast members (5 white men and 1 white woman).  People have been talking about this on the radio and I'm guessing in all the social media world.

What do you think of this racist move by a failing television show that accidentally gives people boosts in their career?  Maybe that's a bit strong but it's what I've heard others say.  It sounds like that is what is happening.

American Dad! is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzmanfor.

The main focus of the show is the Smith Family.  Stan Smith is the husband/father, not in the country bumpkin way.francineishis wife. Their daughter is Hayley.  Steve is their son.

The series focuses on an eccentric motley crew that is the Smith family and their three housemates: Father, husband, andbreadwinner Stan Smith; his better halfhousewife, Francine Smith; their college-aged daughter, Hayley Smith; and their high-school-aged son, Steve Smith. Outside of the Smith family, there are three additional main characters, including Hayley's boyfriend turned husband, Jeff Fischer; the family's man-in-a-goldfish-body pet, Klaus; and most notably the family's zany alien, Roger, who is "full of masquerades, brazenness, and shocking antics."

Creative direction of American Dad! has largely been guided by Barker and Weitzman as opposed to MacFarlane, this believed to have nurtured in distinguishing the series from its counterparts. Unlike its sister shows, Family Guy and The Cleveland Show,American Dad! is not filled with intentional humor, such as through the use of repeatedcutaway gags and other blatant joke-telling deliveries; rather its humor is subtler, focusing on the nuttiness and oddities of its characters and their circumstances. As opposed to joke references to every pop cultural target possible—a staple of MacFarlane's Family Guy material—Barker and Weitzman have structured American Dad!so as to center on a bizarre concept in combination with an everyday-life human story that grounds it.  While the core issues and resolutions are relatable in most episodes, the execution tends to enter into wild and crazy extremes, thus anobservational comedy/farce. As absurd as the show gets, there is typically a family story with cozy elements behind it.

American Dad! has been nominated for numerous awards, most prominently twoPrimetime Emmy Awards and two Annie Awards. In June 2013, it was awarded as top television series by "American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers." Since its debut, the series has broadcast 154 episodes. American Dad! is complicated by aseason number discrepancy that presents the show as existing in two differently numbered seasons: one of the conflicting reports would imply that the show's first season consists of solely its first 7 episodes, while the other would imply it consists of its first 23 episodes.
Wikipedia acknowledges the former. American Dad! has been renewed through its 11th season. Its 10th seasonpremiered on Sunday, September 29, 2013.[12] On July 16, 2013, it was announced that season 10 will be American Dad!'s final run on Fox, and that new episodes of the series will then move to TBS. TBS has picked up the series for a 15-episode 11th seasonslated to begin airing in late 2014.[13]
