Back in the Game is an American situation comedy starring James Caan and Maggie Lawson that is airing during the 2013–14 American television season on ABC as a Wednesday night entry. The series was co-created and executive-produced by brothersMark and Robb Cullen for 20th Century Fox Television. The series was greenlighted by ABC for a series order pickup on May 10, 2013.^[1] It premiered on September 25, 2013.^[2]

On November 1, 2013, ABC canceled Back in the Game.^[3] Despite this, it will air the remainder of its original 13-episode order.^[3]
