Punch! is a send-up of pop culture for teen and adult audiences.

No musician, sports star, actor or super-hero is safe from the staff of Punch! a tabloid magazine dedicated to uncovering salacious stories and scandals. Using a unique cut-out paste style animation, Punch! follows the staff of the magazine as they come to terms with their new editor as well as animating the outrageous magazine features and stories in quick-fire sketches.


Punch! had its broadcast premiere on Friday January 25 at 9:30 pm ET/PT with new episodes each Sunday night. I haven't seen it lately but it was interesting when it came out. Actually they cancelled it after one season. Who knows if it would have gotten better, according to the SUITS standards.

This animated family series uses poignant parody, to slap a crack at everyone and everything previously held sacred. Movie stars, TV icons, trendy brands, rockers, royalty, politicians, and billionaires – no one is safe from Punch’s probing journalists. Sooner or later, they’ll all be laughing stock! Exaggeration and embellishment run rampant, but somewhere a grain of truth prevails.
